Sure it could, but I think Apple makes so much on overcharging for the machine itself they don’t need to be so aggressive over data collection just logically.

Nerd, truck driver, and kinda creeped that you’re reading this.

Apple doesn’t require you to make an Apple ID to use a Mac lol
That’s when you wait a month and offer your consultation services at exorbitant rates
Recursively changes ownership of all files to the user, which breaks tons of system processes
Yeah for some reason
I remember “Jailbreaking” mine and getting shell access and some things, not sure if there’s any like, custom ROMs that make it a better e-reader though. It’s been a while.

I give it 2 months before they axe or further cripple old.reddit prior to IPO, should give Lemmy another wave of new users.
Hobbyist. Run a Lemmy instance, self host many things for myself on my server at home. But I don’t work in the industry at all.
As an instance admin it seems incredibly irresponsible to allow my server to spoon feed Meta my users data and activity through federation.
And Meta proved many, many times that they are utterly untrustworthy.
I hope they used kawaii variable names at least
Right? A little script auto to update your DNS records assuming you don’t have a static IP, now you can remote in much easier. And don’t have to memorize your IP.
I used Apollo from the very first day it hit the App Store.
I started a Lemmy instance when they announced Apollo was going under, I hope Lemmy gets there too.
That’s not gonna stop them
Dear god, parallelized excel spreadsheet databases!
I don’t mean the act of embedding or direct linking in general, but in link aggregators these comics are well known for their alt text, which cannot be seen from the direct link.
I think a good practice might be embedding the comic directly in your comment along with a “source” link.
Directly linking the file of an XKCD should be illegal
I’d still say laser is best for most, but if you do want/need inkjet, then that’s the way.
If you don’t, you’ll pay a lot more to get it back if you ever want to
