1 month agoHonestly this is kinda good press IMO. When the people who actively do have something to hide are using a given privacy tool, that tool probably works.

5·4 months agoConceptually this is basically just standard encryption: some math that spits out gibberish unless you have the info to make that gibberish become something useful.
The noveau drivers don’t work with Nvidia cards on x11 either.
I started on lemmy.ml because I thought it was “the default one” to some extent. Learned that was a mistake pretty fast. Glad I found this one.
