But LinkedIn bros and corporate people are gonna gobble it up anyways because it has the right buzzwords (including “AI”) and they can squeeze more (low quality) work from devs to brag about how many things they (the corporate owners) are doing.
There’s some sort of cosmic irony that some hacking could legitimately just become social engineering AI chatbots to give you the password
I heard more recently Linux has been making strides in driver support, so it’s making me consider Linux for my main rig. FWIW, it’s been working perfectly on my Dell laptop but that doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, only an iGPU, so I’m with you on blaming it on drivers :p
Or make the switch to Linux. Been running Mint on my old Dell and it’s waaaaaay snappier and better performing than Windows ever was - all for the low, low price of free!
Never forget the infamous NCIS co-op hacking on a keyboard scene.
I’m 99% sure we’re gonna start seeing an uptick in employees “accidentally” obscuring and/or destroying these body cams
That’s when you install Google Ultron and call it a day
Ngl I would be down for Big Bill’s Unity
I would argue it was ruined once social media companies found out how to monetize data. Facebook and MySpace were huuuuuge back before smartphones existed, and using a PC was actually not that huge of a hurdle for surfing the web. It was when companies went “oh shit, we can sell user data to market ads” that they all scrambled to make things easier to use and adopt.
Have all of your functions named after loved ones and/or nicknames for your genitalia - that way you can say stuff like “muh dick needs to call shawty in order to work”.
It’s probably more likely that we’re losing more of the “Fediverse is just Reddit 2.0” kind of people - which is great because that’s 10k or w/e less Redditors that’ll go back on the platform they actually want to use.
Fediverse doesn’t have an ocean of communities and content (yet), but that’s fine with me since I’m more active here and trying to offer more insightful comments outside of the Reddit staple “this” kind of comments.
That’s weird, whenever I put that in my Google I just get a result of OP’s mom
They want mods to still be there because it’s free labor that they actually need for the site to not be complete dogshit. For all other users, they want them to use their Official™ CCP-Certified© Reddit Application® so they can shovel shit down their throats.
Also the Netherlands is still very much capitalistic while having much more protections for their citizens.
This isn’t a blanket “capitalism bad”, it’s the fact we allowed our country to be bought out by capitalism.
