Foss project: has 100 open issues
A year passes
Foss project: 50 issues got resolved, 50 new ones have been opened in the meantime
Why hasn’t this giant project fixed a single bug?
Eskating cyclist, gamer and enjoyer of anime. Probably an artist. Also I code sometimes, pretty much just to mod titanfall 2 tho.
Introverted, yet I enjoy discussion to a fault.

“formatting and typo”
No, I’m willing to bet you have plenty of energy. Society has simply deemed that all of it must be spent on being productive for the sake of everyone except yourself.
“If your employees have energy to spend on meaningful activities during their own time, you’re leaving money on the table. Squeeze them harder while they are on the clock.”
Lemmy doesn’t support mentions in post bodies yet. Only comments.
Legally, yes.
In every other sense? Fuck no.
He didn’t “fuck up” so much as think he was big enough to bully the legal issue away.
They did it with the word “meta” here’s hoping they don’t get away with it a second time.
Thunder can’t edit posts at all yet.
Someone tell them they can achieve the latter much more effectively if they simply charge once FOR EACH COPY SOLD.

OH WAIT THAT’S REVENUE SHARE. Seriusly this whole thing is just an attempt at taking more money than devs would be willing to pay, by using a model without an up front percentage.
No. The only way “around it” is to give up and use Chrome.
Everything else will have to dance to Google’s tune to access any website that implements this, and that will at very least include Google’s own websites.
Anyone else missing this app, FYI, there is a modded version of it available on github that makes it as good as it ever was.
It is complicated. Most complex thing I’ve ever set up.
I don’t think there’s a simplified version, every step is needed.
Hello! Welcome to greener pastures.
Which is coming. Eventually. At some point.
Under the hood, communities are ActivityPub “users” that real users are able to post through.
I’m not entirely clear on how it all translates. I checked what this post looks like to you on mastodon, and it’s actually posted by the user who actually posted it, not the community.
The user also has zero follows, wonder how that works with it getting federated.
I guess someone on your instance followed the community this was posted to.
Hello!
I have, a little…
I really really really want to see Relay for Lemmy on that list.
How to neuter your own ability to compete: ban your workers from using the latest tool for boosting employee performance.
Yeah. All we have to do is start asking.
