I’m excited for a risc-v future.
I’m excited for a risc-v future.
It’s pretty crazy how my wife’s m1 air does. It’s the most powerful computer in our house and that’s saying something. As I have a somewhat recent computers.
I’m picking up an air once the base air has 16gb ram and 512 storage. Hopefully the next model will finally make this change.
Before anyone comments that 8gb is enough. I’m regularly using 10-11gb of ram while working in windows.
I think computing like this is cool, but I’m a glasses wearer when you have an astigmatism, it can be difficult to switch between lenses or adjust to new ones.
I’d be 0 astigmatism people have this.
If you can use windows, then you can use Linux. The effort of switching is not really any different than the effort of switching to Mac.
I’ve never had an issue with settings stuff except for maybe a super old game like fallout 1, but I expect windows would have the same issue.
But you are right about anti-cheat stuff. Luckily I don’t care about online gaming.
This is not really surprising. Everyone’s jobs are on notice at this point. Sure there are a few things that are pretty safe, but a large amount could be cut with just one more advancement.
I guess this just demonstrates that a fun kind of captcha could be made.
Talk about a burner phone 😎☀️ Aaaaaeeeoooowwww
I completely agree. Even current and last gen consoles could really be used as a desktop pc. It would be great to see a law passed that forces companies to unlock boot loaders after a certain number of years. I imagine it would reduce selecting waste a bit. I’d totally pickup a ps4 to use as a desktop if it were possible to install Linux on it.
It might just be a matter of having a eu apple account.
But at this point, there is no reason to worry about that.
There isn’t really true side loading. I’m hoping come March 8 the EU tells Apple that they have to do better.
I wish I didn’t have such a dependence on coffee. I’m about to go on a trip and am brining instant coffee with me to the airport in case the shops are closed during my early flight and I’m not able to get coffee until after checking in which is like an hour and a half from the airport.
As a side note, I’m in a third world country and going to an island. They will totally have coffee there, but i might not have access until later in the day.
Tl:dr it’s faster and more durable but expensive. The article wonders if they are already looking for commercial customers.
I’m not surprised. The children there are learning the same math in kindergarten that I didn’t learn until the 3rd or 4th grade.
I’m happy they are making an official app. I think having an app will be a big help for user adoption.
I’m not a dev, but why are there always android apps for this stuff and infrequently iOS apps?
Is it because of the yearly fee to publish apps for iOS?
Well if it’s all handled by Apple I can assume that there is a reasonable amount of security in the way the message is stored.
If a third party gets involved, then I don’t know if the message is read, copied, or stored insecurely by them.
I didn’t read the article, but Apple does advertise a certain level of privacy and security with iMessage. A company getting around that kind of defeats apples “promise”.
So, I don’t blame them for turning it off, but they realistically should bring iMessage to android.
It was really the 6 plus that had banking problems. Was your a plus or regular?
I just want to play fisher price castle and Wild West games. How can this be done? I have the isos for those games.
Is this why Apple is finally going to increase the base amount of ram in their laptops😂
