The base idea isn’t bad, it just needs some tweaking, such as not screenshotting sensitive or private data, being free open source software, and Linux availability.

It looks much better actually, with the fancy blur and transparency effects. Not to say it works better than Linux, and I’m sure it must be possible to customise KDE to look better.

On macOS it also blocks old apps on the app store. On Linux and Windows you can usually run old apps, but they might not support the latest standards.
