I’m not colorblind and I find this a PITA to read.

Spam is the new “cited facts” it seems.
As a liberal that doesn’t own or care to own guns I’m quite fine with gun safety being taught in schools (i.e. by licensed professionals, not a random teacher). Guns are an unavoidable aspect of our society for now and I’d feel better if my kids knew about the seriousness of handling a gun and how they’re not toys.
Regarding the topic at hand with YouTube I disagree with a complete ban of gun videos but all videos should come with clear disclaimers.
Surely AI makes them so efficient they’re free to spend more time organizing a union right? /s
This is utterly disgusting. I feel like Leeloo in The Fifth Element learning about War for the first time.
While explaining BTRFS I’ve seen ChatGPT contradict itself in the middle of a paragraph. Then when I call it out it apologizes and then contradicts itself again with slightly different verbiage.
Yes, adequate is the word. The tipping point doesn’t come when they’re “good”, it comes when they’re “good enough”.
If quality trumped speed and convenience how does McDonald’s stay in business?
In 5 years time? We may be having a war against “Skynet” in 5 years. The tech is advancing at a scary fast pace.
90% of management would be fired because “doing my job” is never enough for them.
You don’t need to convince the devs, you need to convince the managers.
TBF I’ve seen a rare behavior in FF that makes some websites load slowly for no good reason (not an adblock thing). Anticompetitive either way but Google could be exploiting this bug.
Found the one remaining webcrawler user.
Hmm, yeah, but we’d earn WAYYYYYYYY more money if you did pay for this free energy so…
I don’t know if he’s “always” been on the right politically but he’s definitely been way more outspoken since he acquired Twitter. And it’s not just a matter of “we hate him because he’s conservative”. No, we hate him because, like any modern conservative, he openly denigrates trans people, blames Fauci for the pandemic, and he continually overlooks or forgives users for racist and hateful remarks.
Before I left Twitter I also saw a few examples of the “fact checking” system calling out tweets from liberals (for very minor distinctions) and not adding disclaimers to easily debunked claims like hiring 87000 IRS agents.
This also vaguely reminds me of some advanced networking topics. In mesh networks there is the possibility of rogue nodes causing havoc and different methods exist to reduce their influence or cut them out of the process.
Yes, I feel like this is a moot point. If you want it to be “one human, one vote” then you need to use some form of government login (like id.me, which I’ve never gotten to work). Otherwise people will make alts and inflate/deflate the “real” count. I’m less concerned about “accurate points” and more concerned about stability, participation, and making this platform as inclusive as possible.
Tamagotchi or MtG cards too.
Is turning anything into a bomb a good idea?
