come on, Brodie is not that bad
ps (i can’t remember whos channel i saw this on) If you have 2 videos with the same content and the same title but one has that style of thumbnail, the one with that style of thumbnail will get promoted by the algorithm. If I remember correctly it was something huge on the engagement
For such a small community[s] *.nz did well last year, looking forward to the coming event.
@grant@toast.ooo can you put the time in gmt / utc for the rest of the world?
I just wonder how up and downvoting would work since that would go very differently from Lemmy.
how so?
testing @homeschool@homeschool.villagegreen.org.nz
interestingly my instande says fedirated while it is blocked
Good luck from one small instance that just moved VPS providers and upgraded to 0.19.3. I ho no issues except for email died and I had to figure out the new hosts email gateway that was lacking lacking in some of it’s documentation
Shit, sorry
No, Just a screen grab of the interface to block an instance at user level
I’ve been runung most of the RC’s through the 0.19.0 life and pushed the final when it was a few hours old [EDIT to correct image]
I don’t think you could do it without DB access, but not 100% sure
Well I’m running my own no.lastname.nz
Just like @frozen@lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz it is mostly just myself that uses it, but reg is open. Admined from New Zealand and the server is in Australia
I was running dev for the week and a half on, no.lastname.nz, before 0.18.3-rc.x came out. I can’t say I’ve had any real issues on 0.18.3, except the nested comments bug.
I’d like to be able to run it as an alt UI on my instance as well.
Been patched already in release 0.18.2-rc’s
The attack shouldn’t have exposed passwords or hashes, only the JWT cookie. The secret on the server has been changed so all old cookies should no longer work.
There is a very small possibility that email address may have been able to be seen if they logged is as you, but they were looking for admin accounts
I’ve found human bones twice - so not always uncommon. Fortunately neither time they were ‘fresh’.
One was at a subdivision for housing near where a field hospital and Pā was. Police were called and it was determined to be a caucasian thema from the time of the NZ land wars. It would have been more difficult for the developers if the bone had turned out to be Maori, the find still stopped the development for a few months.
The second was a finger bone I found in a weathered mole hill in a very old church yard in the UK, that one was re-inturned at the time of finding - no police involved.
search on the above on your instance, not just visit the URL
Yeah, I caught (at the same time as lemmy.nz) the bit signups in time. I only had about 20 and @Dave@lemmy.nz had about 100. We both have captcha enabled now.
Interestingly none of the 20 I had had email address but username of <word>nnn where lemmy.nz all had obvious spam email address.
/me looks at his lemmy instance domain
