  • My friend really needs to learn about this. He works for Intel and does some really involved stuff, I on the other hand am a moronic jackass factory worker.

No friend, I haven’t the slightest idea what you’re trying to tell me you did if you keep using technical terms.

  • To be honest I just see people commenting here and there that xyz game didn’t work for them and they have to jump through a bunch of hoops for what does work that I just write Linux off for now.

That and I tend to like to check out early access games (cough star citizen cough) so I just dont want to limit myself just to give Mi€ro$oft the finger.

Also, (see early access comment) I’m kind of impatient so even though I’m pretty capable, the last thing I want to do is have to be an IT guy for my PC every time something doesn’t work lol windows is pretty good in that respect.

  • This has always been my issue with programming. I can visualize how to build a chair, I know what I need to build it and I know what it needs to do. I know how screws work, and I understand when glue is applied.

But with programming it’s like i know what the word wood is and I know what the word fabric is, but I haven’t the slightest idea how I use any of it to make anything useful. I can’t even start to build a plan because I don’t even know what’s needed for any specific thing.

At least you have an example of what you want to make, I don’t even know what I want to make so it makes “figure it out” even harder lol

  • It’s always worth trying, but this is something I don’t see us changing. And although it’s helpful to have a prewritten letter to send, when they get 363826283636 identical messages it makes it that much easier to ignore because “they’re just bots.” I edited the message to add my own feelings about government overreach and corporations reaction to censor everything to protect themselves.

  • I believe it’s a human thing. I’ve heard the term “hedonistic treadmill” where what you once wanted becomes “meaningless” once you have it and now you’re looking to the next thing to obtain.

The ultra wealthy wanted money, but now they “won” capitalism and need more because it literally is never enough. This goes for you and me too though, if we became billionaires we’d be looking for “what’s next?”
